Today I want to talk about how old is to old? In this case, society is pushing younger girls to look older, to wear older clothes and just everything older. I think maybe about back in January or in late 2010 a company was marketing makeup to tween girls (ages 10-14, 15?). Girls dont really need to wear makeup at that age. Now Abercrombie and Fitch, the clothing company, are marketing bikinis and padded bikini tops towards this same age group and even younger like the age of seven.

First of all why is this so? Young girls don't have the features to wear bikinis, and in my opinion, the reader may disagree with me on this, but they are not mature enough, and then you have the pedophiles loking at them.

I quote Fox "The Ashley Triangle push-up, comes complete with thick padding for breast enhancement....damage potentially done to young girls in making them feel inadequate with pre-adolescent bodies."

So here is another issue, these suits are going to make girls want to have breasts, or they dont think they are good enough with their bodies.

And then some people think leading a padded bra will lead to sexual promiscuity, why? I dont know I am not a pyschologist, maybe because young girls get the wrong kind of confidence.

Music to sway people,

a friend of mine inspired me to write this

When it comes to music, what do you think is the purpose of it? To entertain? To inspire? To sway people?

Sure music is to entertain us, i enjoy a good show. Music also inspires us, when i listen to Demon Hunter's "Storm the Gates of Hell" song it gives me great courage to stand up to my sins, next to Christ and overcome sin.

Music i believe is used to sway people. One example is the hippie music of the 1960's, along with drugs it got people rowled up to protest the Vietanm war, Nazi politcial music got the Germans rowled up during World War 2 to support der Furher and thus said music swayed people to go to war.

So whats my point? lets take a look at Christian music and secular music: Christian music sways people to christ, worship music has been known to make people reach up to the sky, or weep because they are feeling God's presence. I know this because it has happened to me before, and i will say that being in that type of worship is like a drug, that causes immense feeling, and something that makes you want to go back and experience again and again.

Secular music: has been known to sway people to follow their passions, and not follow God. I recall that i was invited to see August Burns Red, a christian hardcore band that performed with A Day To Remember. By the time ADTR had started, they were using the F word, and saying lets f this place up. I was highly appalled at how they were able to use this word. So in the middle of their performance, i left.

OK you might be thinking get used to the real world and not your christian world, EJ. Well see I am already used to the real world. I do civil war reenacting, and some of those guys use the F word, they also look at women, in an un-godly mannered way.

Grant it, ADTR has a lot of fans, but personally I think their music sucks big time. I only say that because they are not doing any good, and lets say they all converted to Christianity, I feel that those guys can sway a lot of people to Christ, just like how Haste the Day hopefully swayed people to Christ during their final tour.
Now as a christian band every lyric does not have to be about Christ, but you can do a lot more if you put positive lyrics out there and say that you are Christians and are here on this earth to serve a higher purpose.

As a word, people who know me might ask me: EJ why do you listen to Christian Music? It personally makes me happy, I know it pleases my God. When you pass away and see God face to face, and when He asks you, what have you done for Me? Other than saying that you accepted his son as your savior, what else will you say?

Pray for Japan

Good morning folks, i would like to start this morning off about Japan, it has been a few days since i posted last and i have been watching the news about the disaster in Japan.

First I would like to ask anyone who reads this to please pray for Japan. death toll is estimated to be in the thousands, and with the recent nuclear power plant and its reactor on the verge of a complete meltdown, many people could face radiation poisoning.

Second, the voice of the AFLAC duck has been silenced, Gilbert Gofried, the "comedian" with the obnoxious voice has been telling mean jokes about Japan, for instance and I quote "Japan is so advanced, they don't come to the beach, the beach comes to them" and for Gofried to say that is really demeaning and rude, and hurtful.

The last topic of the idea i would like to say is, if anybody here has read the book of Revelation, i can't imagine what it will be like when the judgments come to pass. If the media thinks that this is the worst then wait until what God has to do.

That is all I have to say for today, thanks for reading Christian and Conservative stuff.

welcome to my new blog!!!

hey folks i just want to say welcome to my new blog. basically ill bring up Christian and Conservative topics and put my two cents in. In addition Ill put reviews of shows ive been to and movies ive seen.

so lets start off with the Haste the Day Farewell tour show that i saw on Saturday 03/05/11
There were 5 bands that played in the order as follows 1) some small band that i did not hear the name of 2) A plea for purging 3) The Chariot 4) My Children My Bride and 5) Haste the Day
The show was pretty good, but when the Chariot came on it got nuts and intense. One kid went to the hospital after the drummer from the chariot tossed his base drum into the crowd
After that i was being pressed up against the stage and really could not take it anymore so.....i just went to the back of the crowd and enjoyed the show "peacefully" to speak.......more or

Haste the Day was pretty good, and thought in my opinion that Stephen Keech would not be able to do as a good of a job on the original HTD but......i thought he did a really great job, and it was great when he told everybody up front what the band had believed in about Jesus, however none of the other bands expressed their views in that large manner of degree.

As a final note, my camera had died that night, the cause of death was from one of the guitarists from the band  "The Chariot" and what happened as he jumped off the stage to crowd surf, he smashed the lens into my camera. i honestly dont think he knew what he was doing, the show was that intense.

All in all i got some really great shots

thats it for tonight and hopefully i can keep up to date with this blog.
